Today take a two-wheeled spin through this beautiful village on shady lanes passing green orchards with stops at some ancient communal houses – the aesthetic wooden architectures and Fengshui based gardens depicting a mingling of royal legacy and rustic lifestyle, and original monuments which are closely attached to the rise and fall of the Nguyen dynasties. Enjoy some interactions with the villagers and listen to their stories which provide you with better understanding of Vietnamese culture and history. Their greeting is never a greeting without a glass of tea served in one of two ways: hot or very hot. Because of this, don’t be surprised if you’re more likely to be served tea than plain water here. Enjoy some hands-on experience with the hosts such as cooking, making local crafts and relaxing time with herbal footbath after a day pedaling through the village.
