|Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING
Upon arrival, proceed to the immigration counter to complete all of your immigration formalities. If you already have your Vietnam visa, the procedure usually takes 20 – 30 minutes to complete. Then, head to the exit gate and meet your guide there. Transfer to your hotel for check in (from 1300 only) and relax. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, the first University for the sons of mandarins. Follow this with a walking tour through the old quarter of the city. Visit a local house and take your time talking with the hosts and learn about their family’s life and history. Continue to Ngoc Son Temple nearby Hoan Kiem Lake. End the day with a leisurely ride on a rickshaw around the city and through its hidden alleyways. Overnight in Hanoi.
|Day 2: GOOD MORNING HANOI – HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING (B)
Start early in the morning with exploration to the secret corners of this charming city. Morning time in Hanoi is special and with a different atmosphere from the other times of the day. Experience some Tai Chi practice with the local overlooking the serene Hoan Kiem Lake. After doing some warm-ups like the locals, continue on with a visit to a local workshop with a long tradition of making “Banh Cuon” – a specialty of Hanoians. Enjoy some time making this interesting breakfast and try your own creation. Stops at Dong Xuan Market for your discovery with our guide. End the morning with a cup of coffee with its unique “Egg Coffee.” After breakfast, spend the morning touring the other landmarks of the capital. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his personal residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. End the day with a visit to the Museum of Women. Transfer back to your hotel.

|Day 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B – L – D)
After breakfast, depart for the stunning Halong Bay (3 ½ hour drive) located in the Gulf of Tonkin, a must see in Vietnam with over 1600 islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited. Arrive at Halong City, check in and board a junk. Lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and activities or just spend some time relaxing on board (Possibility to swim in the bay if weather permits). Dinner is served on board.

|Day 4: HALONG BAY – Flight to HUE (B – Brunch)
Breakfast on board and enjoy the fresh morning in the bay. The cruise ends around 11h00 am. Disembark and drive back to Hanoi airport. Arrive at Noi Bai airport in the late afternoon and take the flight to Hue. Welcome upon arrival at Hue airport and transfer to your hotel.

|Day 5: HUE SIGHTSEEING – MEDITATION LESSON WITH A LEARNED MONK (B)
Pick up at your hotel in Hue, take a boat for a short cruise on the Huong river. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda which is located on the river bank and is an iconic seven-story pagoda considered the unofficial symbol of the city. After that, visit the Imperial Citadel, a complex covering an area of 520 hectares comprising three circles; the Hue Capital Citadel, the Royal Citadel and the Forbidden Citadel. Continue to Emperor Tu Duc’s Mausoleum, built according to the laws of geomancy. Pay a visit to one of Hue’s oldest pagodas. Spend a valuable hour being guided through a pagoda with a master, enjoy a cup of tea and interact with the chief master to take a look at the Buddhist movement, life experiences of the monks and their charitable work for the community. Next, discuss spiritual meditation with the master and how this is a part of his day. Not only do they share their own experiences as masters today, but they can also shed light on the various twists and turns of the religion’s history in Vietnam. It is in this quiet environment that you will learn the best breathing techniques and physical flexibility, which are the optimal combination for the balanced interaction between mind and spirit. Followed by a healthy vegetarian lunch made with natural ingredients, learn what they usually have for a meal. Later, say goodbye to the master and return to the hotel.

|Day 6: HUE – HOI AN – WALKING TOUR IN THE ANCIENT TOWN (B)
After breakfast, drive to Hoi An via the spectacular Hai Van Pass, visit the Cham Museum, probably best museum in the world focusing on the ancient kingdom of Champa. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, discover the charming old town of Hoi An, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port during the 15th to 19th centuries. Many of the buildings in the town reflect historical architectural styles and the whole town is listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a walking tour in the old town. Visit Phuc Kien Pagoda and the Japanese wooden bridge. Followed by a visit to a lantern making cottage and learn how to make this handicraft yourself. Overnight in Hoi An.
|Day 7: HEALTH, WELLNESS & LONGEVITY WITH A YOGA AND MEDITATION MASTER (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, pick up and take a private transfer to a beautiful wooden studio located in the ancient town of Hoi An for an introduction to meditation and yoga. Meet and interact with a meditator, Mr. Antoine Gresland to discover the fundamentals of yoda and Buddhism meditation. The lecture includes a Q and A section where you can enjoy an interactive experience with the expert. Then enjoy a cup of tea before taking part in 2 sessions of 45 min yoga (with Ms. Anh Nguyen) and meditation (with Mr. Antoine Gresland) covering the very bases of both desciplines. Enjoy lunch at a Vegan restaurant. Back to the studio for a brief meditaion focusing on breathing techniques. End the day with an introduction to Hatha Yoga and simple Asanas that make th body stronger and healthier. Transfer back to your hotel.

|Day 8: HOI AN – Flight to SAIGON – CITY SIGHTSEEING (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Saigon. On arrival, be welcomed and enjoy a half day sightseeing around this hustling bustling city. Visit Cho Lon/Chinatown to visit the biggest wholesale market in Saigon. The market is the heart of Saigon’s large Chinese community and is surrounded by some of the city’s most elaborate and interesting temples such as Thien Hau Temple – first established in the late eighteenth century by the Cantonese community that settled here.

|Day 9: HEALTHY COOKING CLASS WITH AN AUTHOR – HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING (B – L)
After breakfast, pick up at your hotel and transfer to a local market to meet your chef there. She is a food and lifestyle journalist, columnist at several well-known magazines in Vietnam. She is also a book author and has been traveling to 50 countries. Guests will have the chance to share stories with her while cooking and having lunch. After assisting to select and buy the ingredients at the market, we head to a vintage kitchen and cook together. The menu is changed every day depends on what we find at the market. She will share with you all the yummy and healthy recipes which she has learned from his Mum, so this is a home cooking experience. The menu can design as vegan and Halal-friendly too. In the afternoon, visit the former Presidential Palace, or as it is known today – the Reunification Palace. Then head to the historical heart of the city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral (outside visit only due to its renovation). The red bricks of the cathedral walls were originally from Paris, France. From there, take a short walk to the old Central Post Office. End the morning with a visit to the War Remnants Museum and discover some different perspectives on the war. Then, visit the best-preserved buildings from the colonial era, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville now home to Saigon’s municipal authorities. Continue to Catinat building. Built in 1927, in an art deco style, it has once again become a hub for fashion conscious Saigonese and contains many designer boutiques, galleries, restaurants and cafés. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Saigon.
|Day 10: SAIGON DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, free time at leisure till transferring to the airport for departure flight.
