ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Trapeang Rung, board a one-hour boat ride down the Preak Tachan River to Cardamom Tented Camp. Be welcomed at the camp and get a brief introduction to the conservation and protection work of Wildlife Alliance.

In the afternoon, start your exploratory hike in the jungle around the camp; if you are lucky, you will have an opportunity to see different types of wild animals in the surroundings. Enjoy a peaceful sunset over Botum Sakor. Transfer back to your camp and enjoy a lovely dinner with local cuisine.

CARDAMOM ADVENTURES

Embark on a patrol over a network of abandoned poaching and logging trails through the dense forest. The trail is also famous for its natural habitat of wildlife animals such as macaques, gibbons, or hornbills. Stop by the ranger station, where confiscated snares, traps, and improvised hunting rifles are on display. Enjoy lunch at the station, kayak, or hike back to the camp. Have dinner and overnight at Cardamom Tented Camp.

CARDAMOM ADVENTURES

Start the day with tea or coffee on an early morning boat ride to see wildlife along the Preak Tachan river. Select different activities to do on this day such as kayaking, and bird watching, trekking, wildlife hike, Khmer cooking class or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings.

DEPARTURE

Breakfast at your leisure. If you are an early riser, go on a self-guided hike on the trails around the camp or join one of the activities such as the early morning wildlife boat ride. At around 10:00, board the boat back to Trapeang Rung and depart to Phnom Penh
