This month, we’re focusing on the serene beauty and rich heritage of Southeast Asia, with a special emphasis on cruising and sailing adventures.
We’re thrilled to share updates from the region, starting with a heads-up about Vietnam’s 80th National Day on September 2, 2025. Major celebrations in Hanoi will include a parade at Ba Dinh Square, so Saffron Travel will adjust itineraries to ensure smooth travel for our guests. On a brighter note, Vietnam has extended its 45-day visa waiver for citizens of 12 European countries until August 14, 2028, making it even easier to explore this beautiful country.

Paradise Vietnam is launching the Paradise Legacy Cruise, a new five-star vessel in Ha Long Bay this October. It features 42 luxurious cabins and a stylish lounge. Also launching in Ha Long Bay is the Aime’e Cruise, an Indochine-inspired vessel with a Serene Spa and a Jacuzzi Pool. For a more intimate experience, the Bhaya Soul, which set sail in July, offers a wellness-focused journey with only 20 cabins and an all-season swimming pool.
Board the Nostalgia Cruise, a vessel that is modeled after the lovely Hue Royal Architecture. Enjoy a sunrise tai chi and traditional tea ceremony during your cruise up and down Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. For a distinctly upscale river cruise experience, the Victoria Mekong Cruise offers a unique experience between Cambodia and Vietnam. Our journey concludes in Laos, where the Senglao Cruise offers a magical journey on the Mekong River in Luang Prabang, where the serene beauty of the setting sun meets traditional Laotian culture.
