Let’s find the soul of Indochina through the hands of the artisans here: The Artisan’s Hands: Craft Traditions of Indochina

Discover the soul of Indochina through the artisan’s hands, where every creation tells a living story. In Hoi An, artists reclaim driftwood from the river to create unique pieces at Củi Lũ Village, preserving ancestral woodcarving skills. In Siem Reap, the Sbek Thom tradition brings sacred stories to life through the detailed chiseling of leather shadow puppets. In Luang Prabang, the rhythmic crafting of sustainable Saa paper captures the Lao spirit of harmony with nature.

Oh, and don’t miss the change to experience the vibrant traditions of the Cambodian and Laotian New Year this April (14 – 15 – 16 APRIL 2026) by joining locals in public cultural games, traditional dances, and spirited water festivities.  Just remember to take part and have fun respectfully!
